Spellbinders' November Clear Stamp & Die of the Month for November

Hello everyone! I love all of Spellbinders' monthly Club releases but this month is my favourite so far! The Clear Stamp and Die for November, Diamond & Arch Motif, comes with two gorgeous floral designs and five beautiful, handwritten sentiments. I have done up four cards using a multi-colour stamping technique .... fun and easy! The design of the two motifs with areas that are solid make this a perfect set for this technique … providing lots of colour without colouring!

  • Ink cubes and a stamping platform work best for multi colour stamping. Distress Oxide Inks Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn , Crushed Olive we're used on the birthday and thank you cards. Altenew's Dye Inks we're used for the other two cards; Persian Blue and Sea Glass for the 'sending love' card and Midnight Violet, Cotton Candy and Lavender Field for the 'hello friend card. The were stamped two to three times overlapping the colours slightly to blend them.

  • The images were coated with clear embossing powder immediately after stamping and melted with a heat tool.

  • The sentiments were stamped with black Versafine ink.

  • The images and sentiments were cut with the coordinating dies. Sheet foam was also cut and both the images and sentiments stacked.

  • For the card with the single diamond motif, one of the dies from Essential Diamonds was used to cut both white and green card stock. The green diamond was inlaid in the white panel and embossed as one panel using the Scattered Fall Embossing Folder.

  • The card fronts for the other cards were embossed using the Intertwined Lace Embossing Folder. I have listed a similar substitute under SUPPLIES.

  • The card fronts were adhered to A2 sized card bases except the aqua panel. For this card, the foam-backed florals were adhered to the card front and the overhanging parts of the images trimmed off before it was adhere to the card base.

  • The floral images were arranged on the other three cards

  • The foam-backed sentiments were adhered to each of the cards.

  • Sequins were adhered to the centre of all of the flowers and finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.

  • Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard was used to highlight the dot detail around the flower centres.

  • Nuvo Dream Drops highlight the berries and was also used to add detail on the large leaf flourishes.
