Spellbinders’ Clear Stamp & Die of the Month for January

Updated: Mar 1, 2023

Happy New Year, friends! I have a couple of cards featuring Spellbinders' January Clear Stamp and Die. A great way to begin a new card making year! The stamp set consists of two two gorgeous floral and several sentiments. If you are interested in just the stamp set alone for some cost savings, check out the Clear Stamp of the Month.

  • For the first card, the small corner floral image was stamped on Bristol Smooth card stock with Versamark ink and embossed in white.

  • The images were faux water coloured using Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers. The flowers were done in Geranium Red and Wine Red. Marine Geen was used for the leaves.

  • The flowers and black foam were cut with the coordinating dies. The florals were adhered to the foam die cuts.

  • Graphite Grey card stock was cut to 4 1/4" by 5 1/2".

  • The flowers were arranged temporarily on the panel to position the sentiment. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink and embossed in white. The panel was adhered to an A2 sized card base.

  • The flowers were adhered to panel forming a square wreath. The flower on one end of the floral was slightly overlapped on the leaves of the next one.

  • White Nuvo Drops were used as final embellishments and the flower centres were finished off with black Nuvo Drops.

  • A panel of white card stock, 4 1/4" by 5 1/2", was embossed with Scattered Fall Embossing Folder. To create a shimmery finish, DecoArt Metallic Lustre White Frost was applied with my index finger. The panel was adhered to an A2 sized card base.

  • The large image and small corner floral were stamped on Bristol Smooth card stock with Versamark ink and embossed in white.

  • The images were faux water coloured using Arteza Real Brush markers. The flowers were done in Bumblebee Yellow, Violet and. Ulberry Pink. Bright Green and Light Greens were used on the leaves.

  • The floral images and white sheet foam were cut with the coordinating dies and the flowers stacked.

  • The sentiment was stamped in black Versafine ink and clear embossed. The coordinating die was used to cut the sentiment and foam. The sentiment was stacked.

  • After the foam backed florals and sentiment were adhered to the card, some of the flower centres were finished off with white Nuvo Drops. Dew drops on the leaves were created with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
