Card Details
A panel of Colorwheel Cardstock in Tuscan, cut to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”, was embossed using the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, Radiant Day. To highlight the raised design, Distress Oxide ink in Squeezed Lemonade was applied by gently rubbing the ink pad over the embossed surface. Allowing the panel to dry for a few minutes before repeating the process helped build a smooth, even layer of color while enhancing the dimension.
The finished panel was adhered to an A2-sized card base.
For the sentiment, the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month set—filled with versatile, summery greetings—was used. A sentiment was stamped onto Tuscan cardstock and die cut with its coordinating die. A second cut from white craft foam was layered behind the sentiment to add dimension, then adhered to the center of the card to complete the design.

Final Thoughts
This card is a great reminder that simple techniques can have a big impact. The combination of the embossing and soft ink blending creates a warm, sunlit effect without requiring lots of layers or embellishments. It’s an easy go-to design when you want something bright, polished, and full of summer charm—perfect for sending a little sunshine through the mail. ☀️
