Spellbinder’s VICTORIAN GARDEN COLLECTION features Teacup and Saucer

Hello everyone! Although there is still lots of snow where I live, the temperatures are warming and the big melt has begun! Spring is here! And what better way to celebrate than with Spellbinder's gorgeous VICTORIAN GARDEN COLLECTION. This 5" by 7" card features Spider Mum, Southern Magnolia and Camellia (video tutorials included) tucked in the sweet Teacup and Saucer die set. You can definitely serve me up a cup of blooms!

  • I began by creating the three flowers. They were all die cut from white card stock.

  • The larger petals for Camellia were lightly inked with Distress Oxide Ink Milled Lavender and Shaded Lilac. The smaller petals in the centre were coloured with Wilted Violet.

  • The VIDEO outlines how Camellia was created.

  • Most of the petals for Spider Mum were inked with Scattered Straw and the small petals in the centre with Spiced Marmelade.

  • The VIDEO outlines how Spider Mum was created.

  • Southern Magnolia was inked with Spun Sugar and a touch of Picked Raspberry.

  • The VIDEO outlines how Southern Magnolia was created.

  • All of the leaves were coloured with a combination of Old Paper and Mowed Lawn.

  • White card stock was embossed with Hydrangea Blooms Embossing Folder and adhered to a 5" by 7" card base.

  • The Teacup and Saucer was cut from both Joy of Spring Quick Card Backgrounds and sheet foam. The patterned paper die cuts were adhered to the foam and the tea cup mounted on the saucer.

  • When adhering the Teacup and Saucer to the card front, foam square adhesives were placed on the back of the teacup.

  • HELLO from Outlined Sentiments was cut from black and gold foil card stock. The sentiment was stacked offset and adhered to the teacup.

  • The three blooms were adhered to the card and finished off with the addition of some leaves.
