Hello everyone! I have a pair of cards featuring a few products from the Sealed For Summer Release; Glimmer Bouquet Hot Foil Plate and Die, Floral and Vine 3D Embossing Folder, Glimmer Alphabet Hot Foil Plate and Die Set and Wax Seal Stamps 3 Pack All Occasion. I love this collection! In a previous post, I talked a little bit about the Glimmer Alphabet set. I have included a short video tutorial using it in today's post. This set is sure to become a 'basic' in my studio!
I began this project by prepping everything I would need! I foiled the Glimmer Alphabet Hot Foil Plate and Die Set on both white and pink card stock. See the video tutorial for details. The coordinating stencil was used with Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon to colour the letters for the HUGS sentiment.
Glimmer Bouquet Hot Foil Plate and Die was foiled in gold on white card stock and opaque white on navy. The floral sprays and sheet foam were cut with the coordinating die and stacked.
Two seals were stamped using Wax Seal Stamps 3 Pack All Occasion with Pink Damask Wax Beads for one seal and Laguna Wax Beads for the other.
White card stock was embossed with the gorgeous Mandala Blooms 3D Embossing Folder. The panels were trimmed down to 4 1/4" wide and 3 3/4" tall.
The border edge of these panels were finished off with ribbon. It was adhered with foam adhesive strips. I wanted the ribbon to sit over the embossed panel so it would lie flat. The ends were wrapped around the back of the panel and taped.
They were adhered to A2 sized, top folding card bases.
The gold foiled spray on white card stock was Copic coloured. The leaves were done in either G02 and 00 or BG18 and 15. The flowers were coloured in either RV25 and 21, Y38 and 35 or R39 and 32.
The foam backed floral sprays were adhered with low profile foam squares. The squares were placed just where the image would sit on the embossed portion of the card.
The foiled letters from Glimmer Alphabet Hot Foil Plate and Die Set were used to create the sentiments. Sheet foam was cut with the alphabet dies and the letters were stacked before being adhered to the card.
The wax seals were adhered on the ribbon with Sealed For Summer Wax Seal Adhesive Circles.
The cards were embellished with confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
