Hello everyone! I have a couple of Christmas cards featuring Spellbinder's BetterPress Christmas Collection. The Merriest Christmas and Peace On Earth Press Plates are large, beautiful scripty sentiments. I love it when sentiments take centre stage on a card!
One panel of Porcelain BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panels was ink blended with Distree Oxide Inks Tumbled Glass and Prize Ribbon and the other one with Fossilized Amber and Candied Apple.
Merriest Christmas Press Plate was letterpressed with black ink on a panel of Porcelain BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panels. Cosmic Sky BetterPress Ink was used for the Peace On Earth Press Plate. Both the Black and Cosmic Sky inks are found in the Regal Tones BetterPress Ink. The panels and white sheet foam were die cut with one of the nesting dies from Notched Corner Frames die set. The panels were adhered to the foam.
Mirror Gold and Mirror Silver card stock was embossed with In The Pines Embossing Folder. A Versamark ink pad was lightly tapped on the high points and coated with puffy embossing powder. When melted, this embossing powder has a matte, textured finish.
The panel was trimmed to 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" and adhered to an A2 sized card base. The ink blended panel was positioned in the centre of the embossed background.
The ink blended panel was decorated with some elements using the Make It Merry Florals die set.
A secondary sentiment was created with Make It Merry Sentiments. One was cut from Mirror Gold and the other from Mirror Silver card stock. The banner outline die was used to cut foam and the banner sentiment was adhered to it. The banner sentiments were adhered to the cards completing them.
