What's Better Than One Dancin' Deer? Three of course!

Hello everyone! Just in case you missed the post on Dancin' St. Nick , I’m back with not one but three of Spellbinders' Dancin’ Deer!! Both of these die sets are absolutely adorable. If you love interactive cards but like to keep it simple, these cuties with their swinging legs are perfect! So cute!

I began by die cutting the deer elements. I made sure to keep them sorted into the three separate piles. The deer are very easy to put together. The main body of the deer and the legs are kept separate until they are ready to be mounted on the card with foam squares.

A panel of white card stock was embossed using Spellbinders' Argyle Socks Embossing Folder. It was trimmed down to 4 x 5 1/4 inches, card front size. This panel was mounted on an A2 sized card base matted with black card stock.

Before mounting the deer onto the card, I adhered their paws together so that they would be holding HOOFS! Foam squares were placed on the back of the deer making sure to avoid the area where the legs would be attached. The legs were positioned on the back of the deer and a foam square placed in the die cut hole. Because I was dealing with three deer and all those legs, I used a little bit of low tack tape to hold everything together until they were adhered to the card front. Dancin’ Deer also comes with a layered candy cane which I attached to either end of this trio. A sentiment from Christmas Magic Glimmer Hot Foil Plate was foiled using Aura Hot Foil on black card stock. The sentiment was cut into a strip and mounted on black foam. This sentiment was centred under the trio of deer.
