Hi everyone! I have a slimline card to share with you featuring some products from the Christmas Flourish collection by Spellbinders. This collection is gorgeous! For this tone on tone card, I worked with Flourished Ornament Slimline die set and Holly Flourish Embossing Folder.
Teal Topaz card stock was die cut with a combination of dies; large frame die, detail frame, small frame die. The three dies were held together with low tack tape while die cutting the card stock.
The inside rectangular panel was embossed with the Holly Flourish Embossing Folder
The frames and panel were held together with scotch tape and adhered to a white card base measuring 3 3/4" by 8 3/4".
The die set includes two sizes of ornaments with different design insets. I created a string of ornaments using two of the smaller ones and finishing up with the largest. The base for each ornament was cut from the Teal Topaz card stock.
The detailed inset die was then centred in the base ornament die and held in place with low tack tape. The teal foam from the Shimmering Tropics Pop-Up Die Cutting Glitter Foam Sheets was cut with the detail dies. This foam die cuts beautifully!
The detail die cuts were adhered on the ornament bases. The ornaments were topped off with a white glitter card stock hanger. The large ornament at the bottom of the card was trimmed off slightly and one of the three ornamental finishing pieces was stacked on white glitter card stock and adhered to the bottom of the ornament.
The sentiment banner from Let It Snowman A2 Cardfront was cut from white glitter card stock and stacked on teal die cut. It was mounted on foam and placed at the top of the card.
The ornaments were arranged vertically on the card. There is a die for the 'string' that I cut out of white glitter card stock. It was cut into small pieces to attach the ornaments together.
Teal Opalescent Sequins finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew embellish the card.
