Spellbinders Clear Stamp & Die of the Month, Stuffed with Gratitude, is filled with the sweetest Autumn image and sentiments. I paired this adorable turkey with the rich texture of the Autumn Bark 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, creating a warm and rustic card that is perfect for Thanksgiving.

Card Details

I began with an A2-sized kraft cardstock card base. A panel of Acorn Colorwheel Cardstock was embossed with the Autumn Bark 3D Embossing Folder and adhered to the top of the card base.

For the focal point, I used the Ripped Edge Circles dies to cut two circles, one larger than the other. The larger circle was cut from burnt orange cardstock and the smaller one from Acorn cardstock. The circles were layered and adhered to the top of the card, creating a warm backdrop for the turkey.

Using the Stuffed with Gratitude Clear Stamp & Die, I stamped the cute turkey onto white cardstock. I made sure to use Memento black ink, as it is a reliable choice when colouring with alcohol markers. I kept the colouring simple, without shading, using Copic markers YR27, YR18, Y19 and N2.

The sentiment from the set was stamped onto kraft cardstock, and the coordinating die was used to cut both the sentiment and a layer of black sheet foam. I stacked the two pieces together and adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the circle. The turkey was then popped up with foam squares and positioned above the sentiment.

Closing Thoughts

I love the combination of the rustic embossed bark, warm Autumn colours and this wonderfully cheerful little turkey. The simple Copic colouring keeps the design clean while allowing the texture and layered elements to shine. It’s a fun and festive Thanksgiving card—and that sentiment makes it especially appropriate for the season!

I love how the simple Copic coloring really allows the texture of the Autumn Bark folder to shine, creating such a warm and inviting Thanksgiving card! It's a fantastic reminder that sometimes less is more, letting the other elements, like those adorable ripped edge circles, truly pop. For those times when I need a break from intricate designs and just want some straightforward fun, I often look for unblocked games 66 to unwind. 😊
