Project Details
Each card began with a base of either White or Chiffon Colorwheel Cardstock. The Essential Envelope Every Day Add-Ons Set was used to create the sweet pocket envelopes — two in white and one in chiffon. The inserts were die cut from Chiffon or Tutu Colorwheel Cardstock using the Bow & Bell Scallop Frame Die Set, and each pocket was popped up with foam tape on A2 card bases for soft dimension.
Card 1
The front of the first pocket envelope was embossed using the floral side of the Polkadot & Posey Duo 3D Embossing Folder, adding subtle texture. A layered blossom from the Essential Envelope Every Day Add-Ons Set was die cut from Chiffon Colorwheel Cardstock and inked lightly with Distress Oxide Ink Spun Sugar on the petal edges. The sentiment “for you”, from Treat Yourself Gift Card Holder Die Set, the foliage were cut from Matte Gold from Gold Treasured Cardstock adding an elegant touch.
Card 2
For the second design, the Chiffon Colorwheel Cardstock Pocket Envelope was softly stenciled using the Layered Thank You Bouquet Coordinating Stencil Set and Distress Oxide Inks in Antique Linen, Old Paper, Spun Sugar, and Walnut Stain. This created a beautifully muted floral design. The “thank you” sentiment from the Thank You Bouquet Emboss & Cut Folder was added to the insert for a coordinated look.
Card 3
The final card began with a white base embossed using the Polkadot side of the same duo folder and framed with the scalloped rectangle from the Bow & Bell Scallop Frame Die Set. A dimensional floral image was created on Tutu Colorwheel Cardstock with the Thank You Bouquet Emboss & Cut Folder, which both embosses and die cuts the design in one pass. The Coordinating Stencil Set was then used again to add soft color. The floral bouquet was trimmed in half and arranged over the pocket, finished with a few additional blooms for balance.
Each card was accented with peachy pink iridescent pearls, adding a gentle glow to the pastel tones.
