Card Details
A panel of Colorwheel Cardstock in Mint measuring 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” was embossed using the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month and adhered to an A2-sized card base. The embossed texture adds wonderful dimension while keeping the background soft and subtle.
White cardstock was cut using the scalloped oval die from the Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals die set. A second, smaller oval was cut from Mint card stock and stencilled using the five-piece Dots of Summer Stencil of the Month. Distress Oxide inks in Tattered Rose, Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, and Worn Lipstick were blended through the layers, with white pigment ink added for extra softness and contrast. The completed stencilled panel was cut with the next smaller coordinating oval die before being adhered to the white scalloped oval.
The layered ovals were attached to the card front using foam adhesive to give the focal panel additional dimension.
Three adorable kitties from the Small Die of the Month were die cut from white card stock with Chiffon accents added for the noses and cheeks. Two of the kitties were tucked around the stencilled oval to frame the focal panel.
The sentiment from the Burst of Summer Clear Stamp & Die of the Month was stamped in black ink onto white card stock. Both the sentiment and white sheet foam were cut using the coordinating die before being stacked together for extra height and definition. The third kitty was tucked behind the sentiment before the entire arrangement was adhered to the centre of the card front.
To finish the design, a delicate double-cut bow from the Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals die set was die cut from Chiffon card stock and added as a final embellishment.

Final Thoughts
The soft pink inks paired with Mint and Chiffon cardstock create such a pretty summer palette, while the embossed background and layered ovals add depth without overwhelming the design. The sweet kitties bring a playful touch that makes this card especially fun, and the dimensional sentiment helps tie everything together beautifully. This project is a wonderful example of how coordinating club products can effortlessly create a polished and cohesive card design.
