Hello friends! Spellbinder's Small Die of the Month, Hiking Through the Meadows, is so much fun. I decided to do Santa's boots and filled them with 'all things Christmas' using the Stocking Full of Joy, July's Large Die of the Month! I am loving those glitter boots and pretty sure Santa does too!
An olive green card stock panel was embossed with Evergreen 3D Embossing Folder. A white ink pad was rubbed lightly over the panel catching the high points of the embossing.
The panel was adhered to an A2 sized card base.
The dies for the boot from September's Small Die of the Month was cut twice from black glitter card stock and the laces from gold foil card stock. These boots are super cute and easily assembled.
some Christmasy elements were cut using the dies from Stocking Full of Joy Die Set. I kept the palette simple using red, white, aqua and dark green card stock.
After the elements were assembled, they were adhered to the top of the boots.
One boot was adhered directly to the card front and the other boot was popped up with black foam squares overlapping the toe of the other boot.
Some additional sprigs of holly were tucked in to the sprays. They were adhered to the card front.
A cute puffy sticker sentiment and heart, a set included in Spellbinder's 2022 Christmas kit, were adhered to the toes of the boots.
