Card Details

For the background, the Bow and Bell Scallop Frame Die Set was used to create a soft, decorative frame. The scalloped frame was die cut from ColorWheel Windy cardstock, while the inner layering panel was cut from white cardstock. These layers were adhered to an A2-sized card base, giving the card a clean foundation while still allowing the scene to shine.

The wheelbarrow and all of the elements were die cut from ColorWheel cardstock in soft pastel shades—Bellini, Blush, Windy, Mint, and Fawn, along with cream cardstock. These gentle colours keep the overall look light and Spring-ready while still allowing each piece to stand out.

The wheelbarrow was filled with a mix of carrots, eggs, and leafy greenery, creating a full, abundant focal point. The ground scene was built using tufts of grass, Easter eggs, a few florals, and the sweetest little rooster to bring everything to life. The grass and a couple of the eggs were adhered directly to the lower left corner of the panel, while two of the eggs and the rooster were popped up with foam squares for added dimension. The wheelbarrow was tucked just behind the grass and also adhered with foam squares, giving the scene a lovely layered effect.

Sentiment Details

The sentiment, “Fresh picked wishes for you,” comes from the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month and could not be more perfect for this garden-inspired design. It’s sized beautifully to fit right onto the wheelbarrow. Before adhering it to the card, the sentiment was stacked onto a foam die cut, adding subtle height and helping it stand out without overpowering the scene.
