Spellbinders’ Small Die of the Month for February

Hello friends! Spellbinder's Small Die of the Month, Rain Boot Bouquet, is a celebration of Spring with its beautiful flowers and sweet rain boots! I have done up these boots as a nod to a pair of garden boots I used to have ... and, of course, adored! Who doesn't like to step out into the rain or garden with pretty boots?!

Be sure to have a look at Spellbinder's new value pack, The Deluxe Caboodle Club! All 10 clubs and a bonus item are included at a great savings! The February bonus item is the Exclusive Fluttering Hummingbird BetterPress Plates & Die Set.  This set is ONLY available to members of the Deluxe Caboodle Club.

The February "New Subscriber" registration window will be available February 6 - 27th while supplies last.

  • Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pearfection was used to ink the perimeter of an A2 sized panel of mint card stock for a faux ink blended look.

  • Two consecutive dies from A2 Matting Basics were taped together to cut both gold foil card stock and black sheet foam to create a stacked frame.

  • The boots were cut from red card stock with dark grey trim and sole. One boot was adhered to a foam die cut.

  • The pretty layered Spring flowers were assembled.

  • The boots were adhered with the foam backed one overlapping the other one to the centre of the panel. The foam backed frame was adhered over the boots.

  • The flower heads were adhered to the frame and the base of the stems to the panel. The leaves were adhered to the bottom of the panel and the excess trimmed off.

  • The sentiment from Glimmer of the Month, Daffodil Spray, was hot foiled in gold on yellow card stock. The coordinating die was used to cut both the sentiment and foam. the sentiment was stacked and adhered to the bottom of the frame.

  • The little pink flowers were adhered to the boots and the red ones to the panel.

  • The card front was adhered to an A2 sized card base and finished off with matte gold pearls.
