Hello everyone! Spellbinders' Poinsettia Spray is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! This corner floral image is large and easily takes centre stage on a card. I did some faux water colouring which always makes for a relatively quick card. This set also comes with three sentiments and coordinating dies for the spray and sentiments.
The floral image and sentiment were foiled with Aura Glimmer Hot Foil on Bristol Smooth card stock. I chose this paper because of the faux water colour I would be doing. Bristol Smooth can withstand a small amount of moisture without pilling.
A pretty lattice from Curved Christmas Glimmer Border was foiled with Aura on black cardstock. The panel was trimmed to 4 1/4" wide and cut with the coordinating die.
The Poinsettia Spray was coloured with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Pens for a faux water colour look. Colour was added to the base of the leaves and petals and pulled up to the tip with water on a paint brush or a lighter coloured pen. Fast and easy!
Both the foiled images and white sheet foam were die cut with the coordinating dies. The images were adhered to the foam.
The black panel was adhered to gold foil and trimmed to card front size, 4" by 5 1/4", before being adhered to a top folding, A2 sized card base of white card stock.
The foam backed floral spray and sentiment were adhered to the card.
The card was embellished with Peach Opalescent Sequins and finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew .
