The Magical Fuchsia Collection by Alex Syberia Designs for Spellbinders is truly elegant, combining delicate florals with luxurious finishes. This collection features a coordinating press and foil plate, stencil set, dies, and a stunning 3D embossing folder, making it easy to create beautifully detailed cards with depth and dimension.
For today’s project, I created two cards with very different looks—one soft and luminous with a white and gold palette, and the other bold and dramatic with black and gold. It’s amazing how versatile this collection is depending on your colour choices!

Card One – White & Gold Elegance

This card has such a soft, elegant feel with layered texture and subtle shine.
I began with a panel of gold foil cardstock cut to 5” x 3 ¾”, adhering it to an A2-sized white card base. A second panel of white cardstock was die cut using the Playful Stitched Panels and embossed with the Polka Dot & Daisy Duo Embossing Folder for added texture.
The floral image was created using the Magical Fuchsia Press & Foil Plate, hot foiled in gold onto white cardstock. I then used the coordinating five-piece stencil set to bring the image to life with Pawsitively Saturated Ink in:
Bubblegum
Peony
Rose
Limelicious
Pearfection
Lemonade
After stenciling, the image and sentiment were die cut with their coordinating dies, along with white sheet foam for dimension. To enhance the detail even further, I embossed the floral image using the Magical Fuchsia 3D Embossing Folder.
Both the floral and sentiment were adhered to their foam layers and then mounted onto the embossed background, creating a beautifully layered and dimensional design.
Card Two – Black & Gold Drama

For the second card, I leaned into a bold and dramatic look with a striking black and gold palette.
A die from the Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals set was used to cut gold foil cardstock, which was adhered to an A2-sized black card base. A slightly smaller oval was cut from black cardstock and embossed with the Polka Dot & Daisy Duo Embossing Folder, then layered on top.
The florals were created with Colorwheel Cardstock using the Magical Fuchsia Die Set.
Leaves and stems: Rainforest cardstock
Petals: Blush and Mulberry cardstock
The flowers were arranged at the top of the oval, cascading downward for a natural, flowing composition.
The sentiment—also from the Magical Fuchsia Press & Foil set —was hot foiled in gold onto black cardstock, then die cut with coordinating dies and stacked with black foam for dimension. It was placed toward the bottom of the panel to balance the design.
To finish the card, I added a delicate bow from the Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals, which adds just the right touch of softness to contrast the bold background.
Closing Thoughts
This collection is such a joy to work with. Whether you prefer soft and elegant or bold and dramatic, the Magical Fuchsia Collection offers endless possibilities through its layering options and coordinated elements.
I especially love how the combination of foiling, stenciling, and embossing allows you to build depth and detail effortlessly. It’s one of those collections that truly elevates your cardmaking and makes each project feel extra special.
If you’re a fan of florals with a touch of elegance, this is definitely a collection you’ll reach for again and again!
