The Spellbinders House-Mouse Heart & Soul Collection is pure comfort crafting—whimsical, nostalgic, and filled with heart. These classic rubber stamps deliver beautifully crisp impressions that are a joy to colour. Today I’m sharing two cards featuring Stitched with Love and Secret Ingredient, both charming scenes that celebrate the little moments that bring us together … perfect for heartfelt encouragement, friendship, or simply sharing a smile.

Card One:

Stitched with Love

This sweet scene was created using the Stitched with Love stamp from the Spellbinders House-Mouse Heart & Soul Collection.

  1. The image was stamped with black ink onto Colorwheel Cardstock in Chiffon.

  2. The image was coloured with COPIC markers:

    • Mice: E00, E43, E44

    • Accessories & Details: C1, RV21, RV20, RV000, V93, Y28

  3. The coloured image was die cut using a circle nesting die from Everlasting Circle Nesting Dies.

  4. Two larger consecutive circle dies were used to cut gold foil cardstock, creating a layered frame around the image.

  5. The card background was created from Chiffon cardstock embossed with the 3D Embossing, Unlock My Heart, adding soft texture while keeping the palette neutral.

  6. The framed image was adhered to the embossed panel using foam squares for dimension.

  7. One of the coordinating sentiments was added, also popped up with foam squares.

  8. The card was finished with soft pink iridescent pearls, placed sparingly to enhance the delicate, stitched theme.

Card Two:

Secret Ingredient

For this project, I used the Secret Ingredient stamp, another charming design from the same collection.

  1. The image was stamped in black ink onto white cardstock.

  2. The image was colored with COPIC markers:

    • Mice: RV00, E43, E44

    • Accessories: R02, R05, YR27, C1, C4, RV00

    • Shading & Grounding: FBG2 around the image to anchor the scene

  3. The image was die cut using a stitched rectangle die from the Bell & Bow Scallop Frame Die Set.

  4. The next larger stitched rectangle die was used to cut black cardstock, creating a bold contrast mat and the frame die was used to cut coral cardstock.

  5. The layered image panel was adhered to an A2 white card base.

  6. One of the coordinating sentiments was stamped on the inside of the card, allowing the front design to remain clean and image-focused.

Final Thoughts

There’s something timeless about House-Mouse designs—they invite you to slow down, enjoy the colouring process, and tell a gentle story with every card. The coordinating sentiments add just the right finishing touch, and I love how each card feels complete yet effortless. If you’re drawn to cards that feel warm, handmade, and truly heartfelt, the Heart & Soul Collection is one you’ll reach for again and again 💙
