Hello everyone! Spellbinders' Glimmer of the Month, Floral Framed Glimmering Heart, is beautiful! I love the solid foiled heart with layers of detailed edgings ... very striking! I have two cards exactly the same except the colour palettes. The pink foiled card has a pretty feminine feel while the red is very dramatic! What is your preference?
The card fronts are 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" and were embossed with Intertwined Lace Embossing Folder before mounting it on a landscape oriented, A2 sized card base.
The Floral Framed Glimmering Heart comes with three hearts to glimmer foil; a large flora, a medium scalloped edge and a smaller solid heart. I foiled one set with Pink Glimmer Hot Foil on pink card stock and the other in Red Glimmer Hot Foil on black card stock.
The set comes with dies for the scalloped and solid hearts. I also die cut black foam with the smallest die. The solid foiled hearts were foam mounted and then adhered to the scalloped hearts.
The large floral heart does not have an accompanying die so I fussy cut them and then adhered the two smaller hearts on top. The stacked hearts were then adhered to the card base.
The sentiments were foiled and cut with the coordinating banner die and mounted on foam banner die cuts.
The floral frame and sentiments were detailed with confetti and finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
