Card Details
A slightly oversized panel of Colorwheel Cardstock was embossed using the Brick by Brick 3 D Embossing Folder. Embossing adds quite a bit of dimension, so the panel was trimmed down afterward to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” and adhered to an A2-sized card base. The brick background creates the perfect backdrop for the sweet window scene.
The Everyday Windows, Curtains & Flower Boxes dies were used to create both the upper windows and the large storefront-style window. The window frames were die cut from white cardstock as well as white sheet foam. Stacking the layers together adds beautiful depth and dimension.
To create one large window, the overhanging portions of the window sills were trimmed from three separate windows and adhered together. The curtains and valances were die cut from patterned paper from the Hello It’s Me collection and adhered behind the window frames. The outline die for the windows was used to cut Cloudy cardstock, and the window frames were adhered on top.

The flower box was die cut twice, overlapped, and adhered together to fit the full length of the large window. Greenery was die cut from Mint cardstock, while the tiny flowers were cut from Lavender and Blush cardstock. These pieces were adhered behind the window box before attaching the completed flower box to the bottom of the large window frame.
Using the Everyday Awnings die set, one large awning and two small awnings were die cut from white and Chiffon cardstock and adhered above the windows. For the large window awning, the scalloped edge was decorated with a delicate string of roses die cut from Blush cardstock.
The card was finished with a lovely sentiment from the Welcome Home Sentiments Press Plate & Foil Set. The sentiment was foiled in gold on white cardstock and die cut using the coordinating die. A layer of white sheet foam was added behind the sentiment for extra dimension before adhering it to the card front.
