Spellbinders’ 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, Nautical Naughts, makes for a wonderful, maritime background. I love the texture of the ropes (Trust me, you won’t be able to resist running your hand over it!) I have paired it with the seagulls found in the Small Die and Stitching Dies of the month. So cute!

A panel of Colorwheel Cardstock Beeswax, 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”, was embossed with 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, Nautical Naughts. The raised areas were rubbed with a combination of Distress Oxide Inks Vintage Photo and Antique Linen before being mounted to an A2 sized card base.
There are lots of really cute elements in both the Stitching Die and Small Die of the Month. The main palette consists of Indigo, Cascade and Seaside cardstock. But he knew. Touches of white, Beeswax and Anchor round out the design.
The waves from the Stitching Die of the Month were overlapped and adhered one to the other just along the flat edge of each die cut. This would allow for one of the seagulls to be slipped in between the waves.

The seagulls were adhered to the waves, The waves were mounted to the card front with foam tape and foam squares behind the seagulls.
The cute sentiment was cut three times using the same colour of card stock used for the waves. They were popped up with small foam squares.
The card was wrapped up with an anchor positioned across the waves.
