Hello everyone! Wax seals anyone? If you haven't played with creating these little pieces of heaven, you must! Wax seals make beautiful finishing touches to cards and envelopes! Spellbinder's Wax Seal of the Month for August, Flower Mandala, is gorgeous! The kit comes with both the brass stamp head, a wooden handle and coordinating wax beads. Flower Mandala actually reminded me of a snowflake so I have used it to embellish a Christmas card ... why not?!

Pink card stock was embossed with Vintage Ornaments 3D Embossing Folder and trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4". It was adhered to a navy matted, A2 sized card base.
The outline die from Stitched Ornament was used to cut both white glitter card stock and sheet foam. The ornament was stacked. This set has a die to create a beautiful detail for the ornament. The detail was cut twice from gold foil card stock and adhered to the ornament.
The ornament was adhered to the card front. I put some weight over it while the adhesive dried to get good contact between the ornament and the high points of the embossed panel.
The two leafy branches from Stitched Ornament were cut from navy card stock.
The sentiment tag from July's Small Die of the Month was cut from gold card stock.
The branches and the sentiment tag were adhered to the top of the ornament and the hanger, cut from navy, was attached.
The seal was created using the Wax Seal Starter Kit and the Wax Seal of the Month. Check out this VIDEO on YouTube for tips on creating seals.
After the seal was stamped, the design was highlighted with a gold felt pen with a small nib.
The seal was attached to the centre of ornament with Wax Seal Adhesive Circles.
