Hello everyone! Spellbinder's Clubs of the Month for December have a love theme going on! The Stitching Die of the Month , Stitched Love, is gorgeous with a large sentiment and beautiful florals. I have combined it with the Tiled Hearts, Embossing Folder of the Month.
The December "New Subscriber" registration window will be available December 6 - 27th while supplies last.
The background was embossed using the Embossing Folder of the Month on soft blue card stock and adhered to an A2 sized card base.
The floral dies were used to cut either dark blue or two different shades of teal card stock. White sheet foam was also cut for each letter and flower.
The elements were stitched. Dark blue and light teal floss was coordinated with the stitching die cuts.
In preparation for assembly, all of the stitched die cuts were dotted with Tombow adhesive. The adhesive was applied and left to dry until it was in its tacky state. I find using Tombow adhesive in this manner does a couple of things. It ensures the stitching is secure and it allows the element to lay pretty snug to whatever it is adhered to.
The flower heads were adhered to the stems,
The elements were adhered to the card front and centres of the small flowers were embellished with light teal half pearls.
