Hello, everyone! Spellbinder's continues to celebrate Christmas in July and they have all the things!!! Seriously! Today's card is super sweet and features Stitched Christmas Sweater from the Stitched for Christmas Collection. This is a fabulous and cute die set!
Pink card stock was embossed with Scattered Christmas Embossing Folder. Versamark ink was lightly tapped onto the panel and it was clear embossed to highlight the raised pattern.
The embossed panel was trimmed to 4 1/2" by 6 1/2" and adhered to an A7 Card Base (5" by 7").
The Christmas tree from Stitched Christmas Sweater Die Set was cut 6 times from white card stock. The trees were stitched with pink embroidery floss; two dark tone, two mid tone and the last two in a very light pink.
The trees were adhered to either side of card front overlapping the tops of the trees. I like to use Tombow adhesive to securely fasten embroidered elements. The adhesive is applied and set aside to dry completely to its tacky state before adhering the element to the card. The trees were finished off with a star cut from chunky glitter card stock.
The sweater was die cut from pink velvet paper and white sheet foam and stacked.
The die for the edgings of the sweater was used to cut chunky glitter card stock. These sparkly details were adhered to the sweater and then the foam backed sweater was positioned onto the card front overlapping the trees.
The sweater was embellished with small white crystals and pink pearls.
A sentiment from Christmas Florals and Sentiments Die Set was cut from white card stock and adhered to the sweater.
