Hello friends! I have ‘two for one’ cards today! Spellbinder's Stencil of the Month Club, Tropical Spray, is a beautiful 2 piece layering stencil set. I have paired it with the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, Scattered Tropics.
The May registration window for this club will be available May 6 for current Club Members. New registrations are accepted on the 10th of May. Registrations can be completed until May 27th or while supplies last.
A panel of Bristol Smooth Card Stock was embossed with 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, Scattered Tropics. The pads from Distress Oxide Inks Fossilized Amber and Old Paper were rubbed lightly over the panel catching the high points of the embossing.
Another panel was stenciled with the Stencil of the Month. The panel was secured on a SlimGrip Sticky Mat and ink was applied with a blending tool. This is a two piece stencil set; one stencil was inked with Fossilized Amber and the other with Old Paper.
The two panels were divided. The width for embossed panel was 2” and 2 1/4” for the stencilled panel for the landscape card. The panels for the portrait card were 1 3/4” for the embossed and 2 1/2”for the stencilled one.
The panels were adhered to A2 sized card bases and a 1/4” strip of gold glitter tape was adhered between the two.
The sentiments from the Glimmer of the Month were foiled in Aura Glimmer Hot Foil using the Hot Foil System. The sentiments and foam were cut with the coordinating die, stacked and adhered to the card fronts.
The sentiments and the centres of the embossed flowers were highlighted with peach opalescent confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
