Spellbinder’s Large Die of the Month for February

Hello, card making friends! A new month comes with new Spellbinder's Clubs releases! I have two cards featuring the Large Die of the Month, Spring Reflection ... and it is a beauty! This gorgeous layering floral die set includes two styles of backgrounds and two different floral sprays! This set is so pretty and easily pulled together! (My prerequisite for card making!)

  • Black card stock was trimmed to 4.25" by 5.5".

  • The oval die was used to cut both black card stock and black foam. The die cuts were stacked.

  • There are two dies for the trellis frame. Green card stock was cut two times with each die. Because the frames are delicate, I dotted the back with Tombow glue and let it dry. When Tombow dries, it is tacky and repositionable providing flexibility when positioning the arched frames.

  • The stacked oval was adhered to the centre of the panel. The trellis frames were placed on either side of the oval keeping the distance between the two even.

  • There are two styles of floral spray backgrounds. Each were cut two times out of green card stock. Two of one style were used per card.

  • The flower dies were used to cut yellow, lilac, pink and purple card stock. It is easy to identify the placement of the flowers on the floral spray background.

  • Two identical sprays were adhered end to end on the raised oval.

  • The die cut sentiment was cut from both green card stock and black foam and stacked. It was adhered in the centre of the floral sprays.
