Hello, fellow card makers! I have a set of cards featuring Spellbinder's Floating Balloons 3D Embossing Folder and the fabulous Glimmering Hooray Hot Foil Plate and Die Set. These cards are super easy and fun to make!
A2 sized panels of Bristol Smooth card stock were ink blended Distress Oxide Inks using blender tools. One panel was inked with Picket Fence, Dried Marigold, Ripe Persimmon and Peacock Feathers. The other was done up in Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon. The final panel was not inked at all! It is Colour Blend Card Stock!
The panels were embossed with Floating Balloons 3D Embossing Folder and adhered to A2 sized, top folding card bases.
The main sentiment was foiled using Glimmering Hooray. For two cards, Gold Glimmer Hot Foil was foiled on white card stock. For the third card, Speckled Prism Glimmer Hot Foil was foiled on pink card stock.
The foiled sentiments and sheet foam were cut with the coordinating die and stacked.
For two cards, small panels of Bristol Smooth were ink blended with with the two lightest inks used on the blended background, The sentiments from Party Balloon Garland Stamp Set were stamped with black Versafine ink and clear embossed. For the third card, the sentiment was stamped and embossed on pink card stock.
The secondary sentiments were trimmed and adhered with foam squares.
The cards were embellished with Opalescent Sequins finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
