Spellbinder’s Exclusive Collection featuring Poinsettia Bells and Border 3D Cut & Embossing Folder

Hello friends! Spellbinder's Poinsettia Bells & Border 3D Cut & Embossing Folder is gorgeous and very unique! On one end of the folder is just the border to use rather than a full panel design and, of course, there is an accompanying die! I have included a photo just in case I am not explaining this fabulous product clearly! I love this set!

These cards were quick and easy to make ... always a bonus as the holiday season, and all of its demands, is coming upon us. For both cards, I am working with a combination of plum card stock and gold glitter paper. After the panel and border was embossed, gold texture paste was applied using my finger.

  • For the full embossed panel, the plum card stock was trimmed to 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" before embossing.

  • A bouquet of foliage from Autumn Sealed Spigs was die cut from gold glitter card stock. The flower stem was finished off with a poinsettia from the Make It Merry Florals die set. I used an adhesive dot to arrange the stems onto the panel. Small foam squares pop up the flower and seedhead.

  • The ribbon was tied into a 'flat bow', wrapped around the panel and adhered to the back with double sided tape.

  • The embossed panel with its highlighting was adhered to an A2 sized card base.

  • The sentiment from the Christmas Wreath Add-on die set was cut from the gold glitter card stock and adhered to vellum shadow die cuts. To adhere the words to the card front, liquid adhesive was dotted on the vellum behind the script.

  • For the embossed border, the card stock was first cut to the width of the card base; 5 1/2". The coordinating die was used to cut one end. I left extra length on the panel to trim down after embossing. The die cut outline was easy to line up to the border design on the embossing panel.

  • Gold glitter card stock was adhered to a black A2 sized card base.

  • The length of the embossed panel was trimmed and it was adhered to black foam that was cut using the border die. The foam backed border was adhered to the card front.

  • The same sentiment used in the previous card, was cut from plum card stock and again adhered to vellum shadow die cuts.

  • Both cards were embellished with gold crystals.
