The Every Happiness Collection from Simon Says Stamp is filled with beautiful florals, sweet everyday images, and versatile dies that make creating handmade cards a joy. Today I’m sharing five cards featuring several of the new releases. From elegant layered sunflowers and charming coffee-themed scenes to a soft embossed floral design, these projects showcase just how versatile this collection can be. Whether you enjoy die cutting, colouring with alcohol markers, or adding texture with embossing folders, there’s plenty of inspiration to be found.

Layered Sunflowers
For the first pair of cards, I combined the Sunflower Blooms Die Set with the new Chunky Ovals Die Set to create two elegant floral designs.
The first card begins with a panel of dark brown cardstock adhered to an A2 card base. A gold glitter oval was die cut, stacked onto black foam for dimension, and adhered to the centre of the card. Several small sunflowers were die cut from soft pink and soft yellow cardstock, layered together, and finished with coordinating leaves before being arranged across the oval.
The floating sentiment was created using the sentiment included in the Blooming Flower Stencil and Die Set. The shadow layer was die cut from vellum and sandwiched between two black foam die cuts to ‘float’ the shadow before topping it with a gold glitter die-cut sentiment. The combination creates a beautiful floating effect while adding plenty of sparkle.
The second card features the full sunflower die layered onto a medium brown oval, which was matted with a gold glitter oval and popped up with foam adhesive. A coordinating floating sentiment completes the design, while gold confetti topped with Morning Dew Crystal Drops provide the perfect finishing touches.
Coffee with Friends
The next pair of cards features the adorable Coffee With Friends Stamp and Die Set paired with the new Chunky Ovals Die Set.
The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured with Copic markers before being die cut. The shaped card bases were created by positioning the largest oval die slightly above the fold of white cardstock, leaving a small hinge so the card remains connected after die cutting. This die was used to cut colour card stock panels that would be adhered after they were stencilled using the new Bubbles Stencil. Approximately one-third to one-half of each oval was masked before applying Distress Oxide Ink through the stencil—blue tones, Tumbled Glass, for one card and pink tones, Spun Sugar, for the other. After removing the mask, a ruler and black gel pen were used to draw a simple foreground line, grounding the scene.
The coordinating sentiments from the stamp set were stamped along the bottom of each oval before the finished panels were adhered to the shaped card bases. The adorable coffee scenes were assembled with many of the images popped up using foam squares for extra dimension. Matching confetti embellishments and Morning Dew Crystal Drops complete both cheerful designs.
Embossed Flower Medley
The final card features the beautiful Flower Medley Embossing Folder & Cutting Dies.
A panel of soft yellow cardstock was embossed to create a delicate floral background. Additional soft pink and bright pink cardstock panels were also embossed before being die cut with the coordinating dies.
Because some embossing detail can soften during die cutting, each flower was carefully placed back into the embossing folder after cutting. The dies are designed so the flowers easily nestle back into the embossed impressions, allowing each bloom to be embossed a second time for beautifully crisp detail.
The flowers were layered over the coordinating embossed background to create a soft dimensional arrangement. The centres of the larger flowers were ink blended with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink using a small detail blending brush, while the smaller embossed flowers were finished with Nuvo Crystal Drops.
The sentiment from Positive Thoughts Stamp and Die Set was stamped onto the same soft yellow cardstock used for the background. The open lettering of the main sentiment was coloured with a soft pink Copic marker to coordinate perfectly with the floral palette.
