Hello everyone! GORGEOUS just met FUN with Pop-Up Snowflakes found in Spellbender's new collection, Bibi's Snowflakes! This interactive card also features Delicate Snowflakes. This is a stunning collection that I encourage you to check out!
The panels for the card front and the inside of the card were the first order of business. For the card front, the panel measured 4 1/4" by 5 1/2". For the inside of the card, the panel measured 8 1/2" by 5 1/2". This panel will be cut into two A2 sized panels after the background is complete.
To create the background, the panels were cut from navy card stock and the perimeters ink blended with Distress Oxide Ink Black Soot. They were spattered with Dr. PH Martin' Bleed Proof White and will be adhered to an A2 sized, side folding, black card base.
The snowflakes that comprise the Pop-Up Snowflakes were cut from silver glitter paper. The mechanisms were cut from black card stock. Please view the Video Tutorial for step by step instructions to construct this pop and twist element!
The front of the card was designed with Delicate Snowflakes die cuts. There are four snowflakes (I used 3) and each snowflake has a shadow die. The shadow die was used to cut both black card stock and black sheet foam. The card stock die cut was mounted on the foam.
The detail snowflakes were cut from silver glitter paper and adhered to the foam backed snowflakes.
This die set includes layering elements what were cut from white card stock. These details were added on to the snowflakes.
The banner from Make It Merry Sentiments was cut from white card stock. The banner was adhered with a foam strip.
Two snowflake shadow dies and the little snowflake from the ornament were also cut from white card stock and adhered to the inside panel. These die cuts will create a space to write a personal message.
