Introducing Altenew’s New Fresh Dye Inks

Hello friends! Altenew has 12 new fresh dye inks in three colour families! Welcome to Forest Fantasy! This collection is comprised of beautiful purples in Enchanted Garden, sunny yellows in Pocketful of Sunshine and fresh greens in Green Valley. Each colour family is made up of four inks in varying hues that form a gradient. These gorgeous inks are represented in three cards featuring new products from the April release. For the stencilling on the first two cards, SlimGrip Sticky Mats were used to hold the panels. These are FANTASTIC! The mats have a sticky surface on both sides so it not only holds the panel in place but provides a good grip to the StampWheel or work surface. Love this!

  • This card was created with Floral Radiance; a four piece stencil set. Almost every ink was used from the three colour families! The inks were applied with Micro Blending Brush Set.

  • For stencil one, Ultraviolet, Wisteria and Citrus Burst were applied to create the base layer for the three kinds of flowers.

  • Andromeda, Hydrangea and Maple Yellow were used to add the flower details with stencil 2.

  • For stencil 3, flower centres were coloured with Honey Drizzle and a combination of Firefly and Grass Leaves for the base layer of the leaves.

  • Mountain Pine completes the vein and stems using stencil 4.

  • The panel was trimmed to 4” by 5 1/4” and mounted on a black matted, A2 sized card base.

  • The sentiment is from Timeless Sentiments 2. The shadow die was used to cut both white card stock and foam. It was stacked and the foam backed lavender sentiment adhered it.

  • The card was embellished with the darkest gems from Sugar Plums Enamel Dot.

  • This card was created with Craft Your Life Project Kit for April, Rustic Charm. The kit consists of a stamp set with coordinating dies, stencil set and a 3D embossing folder!

  • A 4”by 5 1/4” panel of Bristol Smooth card stock was ink blended in a gradient of blues using Cool Summer Night Fresh Dye Inks. The panel was adhered to an A2 sized, black matted card base and the sentiment was stamped in the bottom right hand corner.

  • The bird and branches were stamped with black ink on white card stock.

  • The branch was stencilled with Paper Bag and Dark Chocolate on the bough and a combination of the inks from the Green Valley Fresh Dye Inks. The berries were inked with Wisteria and Andromeda. The branch was cut with the coordinating die.

  • The fence is a stencilled image. It was coloured with Paper Bag and cut with the coordinating die. The die cut was embossed with the 3D embossing folder.

  • The bird was coloured with the inks found in Enchanted Garden Fresh Dye Inks. The purple hues were balanced out with greys; Morning Frost, Moon Rock and Evening Grey and a touch of yellow, Citrus Burst. It was cut with the coordinating die.

  • To assemble the card, the fence and bird were adhered with foam tape. The branch was cut into two pieces and adhered directly to the card front.

  • The card was embellished with the darkest gems from Sugar Plums Enamel Dot.
