It’s that time of the month again — Spellbinders Clubs are here for November! I’m kicking things off with the Stitching Die of the Month, Fur-ever Fabulous, a sweet and charming design featuring an adorable Chihuahua nestled in a little handbag. This cutie is paired with the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, Luxe Lattice, for a refined, textured background that perfectly complements the stitched focal point.

Card Details
The background was created by embossing Acorn Colorwheel Cardstock with the Luxe Lattice 3D Embossing Folder of the Month. The intersecting points of the embossed pattern were highlighted with tiny gold confetti embellishments, which were later topped with Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops for a glass-like finish.
The star of this card is the stitched Chihuahua in a bag, from the Stitching Die of the Month, Fur-ever Fabulous die set. The Colorwheel Cardstock palette—Acorn, Truffle, Chiffon, Blush, and Tutu—adds warmth and charm to the design. The bag’s handle was die cut from gold glitter cardstock for a touch of sparkle.
The stitching portion of the design includes pre-marked holes and score lines for easy alignment. Using gold metallic embroidery floss, I completed the stitching with a simple running stitch. Once finished, the die-cut pieces were assembled and attached to the embossed background using foam tape for dimension.
For the sentiment, I used the Vivid Script Sentiments Die Set. The shadow was cut from gold glitter cardstock and layered with black foam for added depth, while the delicate script was die cut from Tutu cardstock. After adhering the sentiment, I added final details of Morning Dew Crystal Drops to both the confetti and the Chihuahua’s pupils to give them a glossy, lifelike finish.
