Hi everyone! I am sure you have already checked out Spellbinder's It's My Party Collection. So many fabulous products to create cards for all those celebrations like birthdays, showers and new babies! This fun shaker features Party Balloons Bouquet Glimmer Hot Foil Plates and Die Set. In conjunction with this set, the coordinating Balloon Bouquet Designs Stencil makes for a quick and easy way to add fun details.
Navy card stock was cut to 4 1/4" by 5 1/2". The balloon bouquet die from Party Balloons Bouquet Glimmer Hot Foil Plates and Die Set was used to cut the panel and then it was embossed with the Floating Balloons 3D Embossing Folder.
The ballon bouquet was foiled with Mini Rainbow Stripe Glimmer Hot Foil on Bristol Smooth card stock.
The balloons were stencilled using Balloon Bouquet Designs Stencil. Distress Oxide Inks were applied with daubers. After some simple masking using Post It Note Tape, a base coat of colour was applied followed by the stencilled designs. The balloon bouquet was die cut.
The navy card front was lined up temporarily to the A2 card base and, using the die cut opening as a guide, the balloon bouquet was adhered to the card base.
Acetate was adhered to the back of the die cut opening on the navy panel.
The balloon bouquet die was used to cut an oversized piece of black sheet foam. The die cut opening on the navy panel was lined up to the one on the foam and they were adhered together. The excess foam was trimmed off.
Aura Opalescent Sequins were placed over the balloons and the foam backed panel adhered to the card base.
The balloon strings, bow and the sentiment from It's My Party Glimmer Sentiments Hot Foil Plates and Die Set were foiled with Gold Glimmer Hot Foil on navy card stock. The sentiment and bow were stacked on foam diecuts.
