Hello everyone! Today's card features Spellbinders's Floating Balloons 3D Embossing Folder from the It's My Party Too Collection. This collection goes hand in hand with It's My Party! Everything you need to make cards for life's celebrations!
Bristol Smooth card stock, 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" was ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Dusty Concord.
The balloons were highlighted with white gouache that had been watered down.
Using a fan brush, the panel was spattered with watered down gouache and then Distress Stain Tarnished Brass.
A few balloons were coated with Crystal glaze. Crystal Glaze needs drying time! I set it aside overnight.
The panel was adhered to a top folding A2 sized card base.
Using It's My Party Glimmer Sentiments Hot Foil Plates and Die Set, the 'congrats' sentiment was foiled in gold on navy card stock. The sentiment and black foam were cut with the accompanying die.
The flowers and leaves in navy and white card stock were cut using the Four Petal Thank You die set.
The flower s were arranged so the foam backed sentiment would sit on top of the stem ends.
The card was embellished with gold foil pearls.
