Christmas Tags … a Baker’s Dozen featuring Spellbinder’s Make It Merry Christmas Kit

Updated: Oct 1, 2023

Hello, friends! I have a dozen plus one Christmas tags ... a extra piece of patterned paper was cut and I couldn't bear to let it go to waste! These tags were pulled together with everything from Spellbinder's Make It Merry Christmas Kit with exception of the die to cut the tags and some embroidery cotton for the tags. 'Quick and Easy' is the theme!

There are great 'add-on's' for this kit that can be purchased as a bundle or singularly (listed under SUPPLIES).

Check out the Unboxing Video

to see all of the contents in Make It Merry.

  • The patterned paper from rhe Make It Merry Paper Pad included in the kit was cut with a die from the Create A Decorative Tag die set. The lighter weight allows three tags to be cut at the same time.

  • Heavy white card stock was also cut with this die. The patterned paper tags were adhered to the card stock tags 'back to back'.

  • A couple of tags were wrapped with metallic thread first before being adhered to the card stock tag.

  • I laid out all of tags and created designs using elements from the various images and sentiments included in the kit .... there is a lot! After I made all these tags, I hardly put a dent in it!

  • For each tag some elements were adhered directly to the tag while others were popped up with foam.

  • Red cotton embroidery thread was looped through the top of the tag.

  • All of the tags were laid out for the final touches! Gemstones or sequins (confetti) were added to most of the tags.

  • Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew was added to the tops of the confetti and to the animals' eyes.

  • Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard was used to highlight any small accents like the dots on Christmas trees, the centres stars, flowers or snowflakes and ornament details ... because you just can't have enough shine!
