Hello everyone! I have a fun and colourful Christmas card featuring a fabulous new die by Spellbinders, Ice Skate. It has been used in conjunction with some other new products; Plaid Tidings Background, Glitter Wishes and Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations .
Ice Skate was die cut two times; once from white card stock and the second skate from white, black and silver foil card stock. The skate was paper pieced using low profile foam tape on the white die cut of the skate. The silver skate blade was adhered directly to the base. The skate was 'laced' with embroidery floss.
A panel of Onyx Card Stock was foiled with Rainbow Hot Foil using a fabulous new plate, Plaid Tidings Background. The panel was cut with a rectangular nesting die, mounted on black foam and adhered to an A2 sized card base.
A sentiment from Glitter Wishes was foiled with Aura Hot Foil, cut with an accompanying die and mounted on a foam strip. The greenery and candy from Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations add some finishing decorative touches to the skate. Pom poms were added to the end of the laces and the base of the lacing and the candies were coated with Nuvo Crystal Glaze. Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew were added to the berries.
