Hello friends! I am excited to be guest designing for Alex Syberia Designs' September Collection. As one might expect, the collection is absolutely fabulous with some really unique and exciting products! Today's cards feature the adorable Cheerful Panda Moments and the Thin Stripes Cover Die! This die does double duty! Not only can it be used to create fun, striped backgrounds but it also coordinates with the Celebrations Sentiments Hot Foil Plate ... you guessed it! All the sentiments are foiled at the same time and then enter Thin Stripes Cover Die to cut them all at once! So awesome!
Pink, mint and yellow card stock were cut with the Thin Stripes Cover Die.
Tear-rific Adhesive Sheet was cut to A2 size. The backing paper was removed from one side and the paper strips were pieced horizontally on the sheet adhesive alternating between the three colours.
The striped panel was cut with the smallest die from the Nested Stitched Circle Die Set.
1/8" was trimmed off the long side of the full striped panel so it measured 4" wide and 5 1/2" high. The backing paper was removed and it was adhered to an A2 sized, black card stock panel. This panel was adhered to an A2 sized card base.
Black card stock and black sheet foam were also cut with the circle die and stacked. The foam backed circle was adhered to the card front in the die cut opening.
The backing paper from the striped circle was removed and it was adhered to a black foam circle before mounting it to a an A2 sized, black card base.
The main sentiment from the Cheerful Panda Moments Stamp Set was stamped six times on white card stock with Versamark ink. The sentiments were embossed with the Delicate Blooms Embossing Powder Trio. Two sentiments were embossed with each of the three colours of embossing powder.
The pandas and accessories were stamped with Memento, a COPIC friendly ink. The elements were coloured simply; W1, 0 for the pandas and R81, G00 and Y13,11 for the other elements.
The dies from Cheerful Panda Moments Die Set were used to cut the images and the sentiments. The die for the main sentiment was also used to cut black foam and the sentiments were stacked.
The streamers were adhered to the top of the circles on each card. Three sentiments in each of the colours were adhered on the circle below the streamer.
The accessories used to dress up the pandas were adhered to them before they were mounted on the bottom of the card front along with the secondary Happy Birthday sentiment.
The ladybug was adhered with a foam square on the card front to appear as if it was attached to the string on the streamer.
Some circles on the streamers were embellished with either pink, mint or yellow extra small and small pearls.
