Hello fellow card makers! Altenew's Bold Bouquet Stamp Set is gorgeous! I am in love with this floral image! If you are not one for colouring, the Bold Bouquet Layering Stencil Set will allow you to easily add colour. There are also two coordinating die sets, Bold Bouquet Die Set (words) and Bold Bouquet Die Set (flowers). Finally, to take things to the next level, the Bold Bouquet 3D Embossing Folder! I know! Making beautiful cards has never been easier!
The floral image from Bold Bouquet Stamp Set was stamped on Bristol Smooth Card Stock with grey ink using a stamping platform. The stamp was left in place so the image could be stamped again for embossing after the colour was added.
The Bold Bouquet Layering Stencil Set is comprised of four stencils. The stencilling was completed with Altenew's Fresh Dye Inks and small blender brushes.
Stencils 1 through 3 are used to colour the flower petals. Starting at the base of each petal and working toward the tip, Sapphire, Deep Iris and Cotton Candy were applied.
Stencil four is used for the leaves and has two sections. For the first set of leaves, Evergreen, Forest Glades and Frayed Leaf were applied. Forest Glades and Buttercream were used the second set of leaves.
The background was 'blacked out' using a Copic 100 marker. The image was edged in black and then the background was completed applying the ink in the same direction. Two coats of ink were applied.
The panel was placed back into the stamping platform with the stamp that was left undisturbed. The image was stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder two times.
The panel was embossed with the coordinating Bold Bouquet 3D Embossing Folder.
The panel was trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4" and the secondary sentiment was stamped and embossed in gold.
The panel was adhered to a gold foil panel measuring 4 1/8" by 5 3/8" before being adhered to an A2 sized, black card base.
The main sentiment, YOU, was stamped with black ink on gold foil card stock twice and clear embossed. The sentiment and black foam were cut using the coordinating Bold Bouquet Die Set (words). The sentiment was stacked and adhered above the secondary sentiment.
The card was embellished with gold foil pearls.
