Hello everyone! I have a set of cards featuring Spellbinders' newly released Flurry of Snowflakes ... GORGEOUS!!! This 3D design has incredible dimension! I wanted a twist on working with acrylic paints and embossing folders and this method is even quicker than applying the paint to the folder!

Distress Oxide paints were rolled on to panels of Bristol Smooth card stock with a brayer. Broken China, Dusty Concord and Kitsch Flamingo were used on all of the panels in different amounts resulting in different looks.
After the panels were dry, they were embossed with Flurry of Snowflakes.
Antique Gold Gilders Paste was applied by rubbing a finger on the paste and then onto the panel catching the high points.
The panels were spattered with Distress Stain Tarnished Brass.

The panel was mounted on an A2 sized, black top folding card base matted with gold foil card stock.
The sentiments from Outlined Christmas Sentiments were cut from gold foil card stock and dotted with Tombow glue and left to dry. When dry, Tombow is tacky and repositionable providing flexibility in the placement of the sentiment.

The die cuts for the floral arrangements are from two sets; Outlined Christmas Sentiments and Stitched Ornament Display. The various elements were cut from vellum, gold card stock and pink or lavender card stock. A gold sequin was adhered to the centre of the poinsettia.
The cards were embellished with either Purple or Pink Opalescent Sequins finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
