Hello everyone! Spellbinders' Showered with Love Collection is so sweet! This slim line card features Rain or Shine and Raining Hearts .... okay! Raindrops! This coverplate die set comes with both the heart and raindrops die! So awesome!
The umbrella from Rain or Shine was constructed seven times in rainbow colours using a light and dark shade of card stock. To emphasize the dimensional aspect of the umbrella, the die for the underside was used to cut the darker card stock.
The handle was attached to the underside of the umbrella before adhering the umbrella top with low profile foam squares.
The darker card stock for each umbrella was used to cut the end tip and handle.
Foam was die cut using the umbrella top die and adhered to each one.
The umbrellas were adhered to a card front measuring 3.5 by 8.5" in rainbow order.
The umbrellas were angled criss crossing the handles.
The sentiment from the Raining Hearts die set consists of two dies. The shadow die was used to cut rainbow patterned paper and black foam. After these were stacked, the black card stock script die cut was adhered .
Using the rain cover plate from Raining Hearts, a few raindrops were die cut to match the darker card stock from each umbrella.
The raindrops were adhered above, on and below the coinciding umbrella following the same angle.
The raindrops were finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
