Hello friends! Creating freshness and simplicity with a 'White on White' design is a 'Slice of Cake'! I love the opportunity to incorporate different textures. This pretty birthday card could be used for a shower or wedding with a sentiment change.
An A2 sized panel of white card stock was embossed with Kaleidoscope 3D Embossing Folder and adhered to a card base.
Using the Slice of Cake die set, the main cake die, candle and flame were used to cut white card stock. White sheet foam was also cut with the cake die and the card stock die cut adhered to it.
The dies to cut the cake top and layers were used to cut specialty card stock. The die cuts were assembled on the cake.
A white die cut of Lady's Mantle was adhered to the back of the left hand side of the cake and then mounted on the card front. Foam squares were used to pop up the leaves.
The sentiment from Best Year Yet Stamp Set was stamped with black Versafine ink and cut with a die from an older Simon's scalloped nesting die set no longer available. It was foam mounted and adhered to the card.
White Pearls were used to embellish the background.
The candle was adhered to the top of the cake and Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard applied to the flame.
