Spellbinders Stencil of the Month, Where Love Lands, is a stencil set that makes crafting beautifully effortless. Card Details

1. Stenciling the Background

• Place Colorwheel Cardstock in Seaside onto your work surface and secure the first stencil from the Where Love Lands 5-piece stencil set with low-tack tape.

• Using detail blending brushes, ink blend each stencil layer in sequence.

• Distress Oxide Inks used:

  • Peacock Feathers

  • Picked Raspberry

  • Candied Apple

  • Faded Jeans

  • Pumice Stone

  • Black Soot

• Add a light touch of white pigment ink on select areas to soften transitions and add highlights.

2. Die Cutting the Focal Panel

• Die cut the stenciled panel using the large oval die from the Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals die set.

• Use the same oval die to cut white sheet foam.

• Stack the inked oval on top of the foam for dimension.

3. Assembling the Card Base

• Adhere the stacked oval panel to an A2-sized white card base, centering it for a clean, balanced look.

4. Creating the Sentiment

• Die cut the sentiment from the Stitching Die of the Month set using:

  • Dark blue cardstock (top layer)

  • White sheet foam (for stacking)

• Glue the layers together and adhere the sentiment along the upper left curve of the oval, following its shape for a natural flow.

5. Finishing Touches

• Embellish the card with:

  • Nuvo Crystal Drops – Simply White

  • Navy blue confetti

  • Nuvo Crystal Drops – Morning Dew placed over the confetti for added shine and dimension

• Allow embellishments to dry fully before handling
