Card One – Stenciled Tulips and Daffodils

Both cards features the Tulips And Daffodils press/foil plate.

After the image was pressed onto a BetterPress Porcelain A2 Panel, the coordinating stencil set was used to colour the floral arrangement. I used Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Sunbeam, Lemonade, Peachy, Celery, and Limelicious to build soft layers of colour.

The card was finished with a beautiful stacked sentiment from the Bouquet of Hugs Sentiments and the Aura Iridescent Confetti embellishments topped off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.

Card Two – Distress Stain Background Tulips

For the final card, I created a soft blended background before pressing the image.

A panel of BetterPress Porcelain A2 Panelr was first misted generously with water. Distress Stains in Mustard Seed and Twisted Citron were then applied, keeping the colour concentrated around the edges so the centre remained lighter.

After pressing the floral image, a small blending brush was used to apply white pigment ink to the tips of the flower petals for subtle highlights. The sentiment was stamped and lightly tinted with the same stains so it would coordinate with the background.

Like the other card, this one was finished with Aura Iridescent Confetti for a touch of sparkle.

Final Thoughts

This collection is such a joy to work with. It’s a beautiful collection for Spring cards, friendship greetings, and thoughtful handmade notes … and who doesn’t love a quick and easy card!
