I began with a panel of Crafty Necessities Cardstock Marshland, 4” by 51/4”, and lightly inked the edges with Fresh Dye Ink Moon Rook using a Large Blending Brush. The bird from Chickadee Chirps Registration Press Plates was pressed in the centre of the panel with a combination of Moon Rock and Evening Grey. Cloud White ink was added to the breast and cheek using a Micro Blending Brush.
The branches from the Branched Frames Die Set were cut from the both Moon Rock and Marshland cardstock. For the two Mini Flower ClusterMoon Rock, Evening Grey, Caramel Toffee and Sunrise Pastel cardstock were used. The leaves were cut from Misty Moor, Marshland and Moon Rock. Coral Bliss Ink was applied to the final flower petal layer with a Micro Blending Brush. After the wreath and flowers were assembled, along with the background panel, they were all spattered with gold stain.
The panel was adhered to an A2 black card base. It was lined up on the right to leave a 1/4” black border on the other side. This border was finished off with a thin strip of gold washi tape. The wreath was adhered to the panel, and the flower clusters were popped up with foam squares. The sentiment from Pocket Sentiments Stamp Set was stamped with Sea Forest on Marshland cardstock and cut with the coordinating die. The sentiment was adhered to a black foam die cut. The chickadee was embellished with Nuvo Black and White Crystal Drops.
