Stencilling Three Ways featuring Altenew’s WATERCOLOR ROSES

Updated: May 13, 2023

Hello everyone! I am excited to be collaborating with Altenew! Today's cards look at stencilling with different mediums featuring the gorgeous layering stencil, Watercolor Roses. Stencilling is a fast and easy way to create a card! Add layered stencilling and the result is a beautifully detailed image with a dimensional look. NOW add in colour applications with different mediums ... and you just extended the use of your stencils with different looks!

Watercolor Roses were stencilled using three different mediums; dye inks, watercolour and pigment powders. I love that the stencils come with 'how to' illustrated guides! All the guess work is removed so you can jump right in and get creative!

Layering Stencil Guide

The illustrated, step-by-step instructions are easy to follow. The colours for all mediums were applied lightest to darkest.
