Spellbinders’ Tunnel Scapes Collection featuring Rainbow Slice Tunnel

Hello friends! I’m back with more cards featuring Spellbinders’ Tunnel Scapes Collection. These cards feature yet another unique and amazing die set from this fabulous collection, Rainbow Slice Tunnel. One of the cards incorporates an additional die set from Tunnel Scapes called Perched Birds.

The two cards demonstrate how these tunnel layers can be used with a focus on colour or texture. What is your preference? Either way, I love the Rainbow Slice Tunnel! The die set includes four irregular shaped tunnels that graduate in size. I constructed both cards with all four tunnels. Each was die cut from an A2 sized panel.

  • For this card, all the elements including an additional small bird from coloured card stock and the tunnels were cut from white card stock. A few flowers were also cut from soft peach.

  • A small piece of green card stock was adhered to the back of panel with the smallest tunnel.

  • As the subsequent panels were layered on, the two branches adhered with them.

  • The leafy sprigs were adhered to the back of a couple of the birds and all birds were mounted with foam squares.

  • The sentiment from Everyday Sentiments was cut from peach card stock.

  • The flowers and Peridot Color Essential Gems were added in before the card front was adhered to an A2 sized card base.

  • The colourful tunnel was constructed by adhering the four panels that were die cut from white, Sunkissed, Fruit Punch and Mahogany card stock. A small piece of Peridot card stock was adhered to die cut opening before mounting it on A2 sized card base.

  • The flowers and foliage from the Rainbow Slice Tunnel was cut from the same card stock with the addition of soft pink. They were adhered in small groupings.

  • The sentiment from Fresh Picked Sentiments was cut from pink card stock.

  • The card was embellished with Berry Color Essential Gems.
