Spellbinders’ Take Note Collection

Hello friends! Spellbinders’ Take Note Collection is fabulous with a number of fun products to create ‘Just A Note’ cards that spark creativity. I have four cards using a number of fabulous sets from this collection; Torn Paper Edges, Push Pin Notes Die Set, Reel Color, Memo Splatter and Reel Color Sentiments. Lots of fun creating these cards!
This card features the Reel Color Die Set. The real was cut from black cardstock and the little cut out windows from white. Before adhering the die cuts, they were coloured in rainbow order with Copic markers. Patterned paper from the Just Sayin’ 6X6 Paper Pad was cut to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” and the bottom trimmed with one of the dies from the Torn Paper Edges Die Set. This panel was adhered to an A2 sized, black card base and the reel mounted on top with foam squares. The sentiment from Reel Color Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set was mounted on a foam die cut. The card was finished off with a large sentiment from the Hello It’s Me Cardstock Diecut Ephemera Sentiments.
Push Pin Notes Die Set has been used with another really fun set, Stitched Taking Notes. The paper background was cut from pale yellow cardstock. Although this is a stitching die, I used a gold gel pen and ruler to draw in the lines. The bottom was trimmed with one of the dies from the Torn Paper Edges Die Set and it was adhered to an A2 sized, black card base. The sticky note was cut from two shades of yellow card stock and finish off with a pink push pin. It was adhered to the note paper with foam squares. The flag sentiments included in the Stitched Taking Notes were adhered to the sticky note. The sentiment from Reel Color Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set was mounted on a foam die cut.
These cards feature Memo Splatter BetterPress Plate. The splatters were inked with Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn / Tumbled Glass / Broken China on one card and Shaded Lilac / Dusty Concord / Prize Ribbon on the other. The top and the bottom of the panels were cut with dies from the Torn Paper Edges Die Set and adhered to A2 sized, black card bases with foam. The cute crayons were created using the bonus item in the May Deluxe Caboodle Kit. The colours were coordinated with the splatters and the crayons finished up with Nuvo Drops. The sentiment from Reel Color Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set was mounted on a foam die cut.
