Card Details
The background panel was stenciled using Burst Mode with Distress Oxide Inks in Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar, and Tattered Rose. These colours were blended through the layered rays of light to create a vibrant burst effect. The final stencil layer adds a dotted detail, which I completed using Stickles Glitter Gel for lots of sparkle and texture. The finished panel was trimmed to 4” × 5 1/4” and adhered to an A2 sized card base.
The Unstoppable die set makes creating an interactive element incredibly easy. The superhero figure was die cut from a combination of chiffon, blush, and acorn Colorwheel Cardstock with accents of gold glitter for her cape and stars. The body and legs are separate entities and not attached to allow the legs to swing for a fun interactive feature. A foam square was placed on the card front and the hole at the top of the leg die cut was simply placed over it, allowing the legs to move freely. The body was then adhered with foam squares, keeping the adhesive near the upper portion so the legs could swing without obstruction.

The sentiment, included in the die set, was cut from Chiffon cardstock and foam stacked for dimension before being placed at the bottom of the card. A few gold glitter stars were added to complete the superhero theme.
Final Thoughts
This card is such a fun and easy way to create an interactive design. The swinging legs add a playful surprise, while the bright burst background and sparkly accents give the card lots of energy and personality—perfect for celebrating someone who is truly super!
