Card Details
Stencilling was done on cream-coloured A2 cardstock.
The poppies were ink blended using Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry combined with white pigment ink, concentrating the colour at the base of each petal and softly blending outward to white for a luminous, airy look.
The leaves and stems were coloured with Mowed Lawn, with Shabby Shutters used to lighten and add variation to the greenery.
The flower centers were created in two applications:
First layer: Black Soot
Second layer: Black Soot lightly brushed with white ink to soften the contrast and add dimension

Stencil Three is used twice needing to be repositioned.
The top portion completes the petals and the tops of the seed heads
The bottom portion completes the flower centers, which were coloured with Mowed Lawn
Once stencilling was complete, the panel was adhered to an A2 card base.
Two hummingbirds from the Large Die of the Month cut from Colorwheel Cardstock and detailed with white gel pen were added for a whimsical finishing touch and popped up with foam squares.
The sentiment, from the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month, was stamped in black ink on green cardstock.
The coordinating die was used to cut both the sentiment and black sheet foam, allowing the sentiment to be stacked and popped up for added dimension.
