Spellbinders’ Stencil of the Month for May

Hello friends! Spellbinder's Stencil of the Month, Write On, is a five piece set. Four of the stencils create a fun background of pencils. The final stencil can be used for a background independent of the rest of the stencils. I am a huge fan of stenciling. I love how quickly backgrounds and images come together flawlessly!

Four of the five stencils from the Stencil of the Month were used create the cute pencil background. The inks were applied with detail, blending brushes. Distress Oxide inks Dried Marigold, Spun Sugar, Black Soot, Old Paper and Tea Dye were used for the multicoloured pencil background.
For the card, the pencils were stencil on Buttermilk cardstock using Sun Sugar, Tea Dye, Black Soot and Scattered Straw.
The panels were dry, cut with a rectangular die included in the Stitched Scallop Card Front and Tag. The scalloped die was used to cut Mint cardstock for one card and Buttermilk for the other.
The stencilled panels were mounted to the centre of the scallop backgrounds and then adhered to A2 sized; black card bases.
The Large Die of the Month includes an alphabet die. This die was used to cut both Bellini and Mint cardstock. The letters were randomly adhered to the background around the pencils.
The sentiments from the BetterPress of the Month word letter pressed and cut with the coordinating die. They were popped up with foam squares.
Final embellishments were added using Nuvo Vintage Drops Vanilla Milkshake and Nuvo Dream Drops Frosted Lake.
