Hello friends! I love Spellbinders’ House Mouse Rare Blooms Collection. The rubber stamp sets are so sweet and all of the images depict a carefree playfulness perfect for creating Spring and Summer cards. My card features Rare Bloom.
Rare Bloom Cling Rubber Stamp Set is a set of five stamps. The image is made up of Maxwell presenting a bouquet of flowers to Monica. In addition to the image, the set includes four sentiments: Sending flowers to brighten your day, Surprise, You’re a rare bloom, and Just for You.
The image and sentiment were stamped with Memento Black ink on white cardstock. This ink is Copic friendly.
The mice were coloured with E44, 43 and 42. A touch of R81 was applied to the inside of the ears, nose and cheeks. For the bouquet, Y35, 32 and 06 were used for the flowers with YG03 on the stems. The shadowing was done with C5.
The panel was cut with one of the dies from Perfect Arches. The largest die from this set was used to cut black cardstock. The panel was adhered to the black arch and then mounted on an A2 sized white card base.
